We’re back!

After a long hiatus, Maelstrom is back in print.  We are dusting off our creative hats, digging out our reading glasses and getting back to work.  We are currently collecting submissions for our first issue in many years. If you have some poetry, short fiction, art, or photography that is funny, edgy, smart, dark or just so weird that no one else knows what to think of it, you might want to send it to us.  Submission guidelines can be found at the top of the page.  We are going green and using Green Submissions online. This submission manager is great because it allows you to save on paper and stamps and check in on the status of your submission at any time. The submission manager also allows the editors a centralized location to choose material for upcoming issues, so we like it a lot and hope you do too!  Some changes since you last saw us include the addition of our new Fiction Editor, C.L. Blacke and the conversion of a quarterly publication into one that will be published twice per year.  It’s great to be back and we all look forward to reading and viewing your great works and sharing them with the rest of the world.

Namaste,

Christine L. Sostarich
